Construction
The hull and deck are constructed using Isophthalic acid resin and tri-axial knitted fiberglass fabric. The exterior layer is composed of 100% vinylester, while the interior layer is made of polyester. Corecell foam is employed for coring above the waterline, with the exception of hardware attachment points. All coring is vacuum-bagged to ensure complete adhesion. Below the waterline, the hulls are solid fiberglass. Each bow locker contains two forward watertight compartments, and there are four watertight bulkheads – two forward and two aft. The standard fin keels feature a sacrificial section designed to withstand substantial damage without compromising hull integrity.

Hi, Glad to see you’re interested in HALO. Ever since I first saw an Antares I thought it was a beautiful boat, and when you are fortunate enough to step on one it will feel like you’re home. My journey started in 2018 when I ordered HALO, and I have cherished every moment I am able to spend on board. After travelling extensively through the Bahamas and the East Coast, I found the Eastern Caribbean to be inviting and offering excellent diving. Transiting the Panama Canal brought HALO to the pacific where she now resides in Paradise Village Marina in Nuevo Vallarta. The next step was to cross the pacific, but life has returned me to the West Coast instead of French Polynesia, so HALO is now waiting for someone to continue her journey wherever the wind takes her. May fair winds and following seas bless your journey. Cheers, Chad Reder
